Collective Agreement

Our collective agreement protects our rights and outlines our responsibilities in the workplace.

If you ever have concerns about how you’re being treated, reach out to your steward or a member of the executive for support.

Bylaws

Our bylaws define the framework for how our local is democratically governed—guiding the election of representatives and the overall operation of our organization.

Benefits

Benefits for CUPE 1606 members are bargained in the collective agreement and provided through the Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan (ASEBP).  If you feel you have been denied benefits you should have received, talk to a member of the executive.

Pensions

Pensions for CUPE 1606 members are negotiated in the collective agreement and delivered through the Local Authorities Pension Plan (LAPP). If you have questions about your pension rights and aren’t getting clear answers from the employer, please connect with a member of the executive for support.
