CUPE Alberta. Purple shirt day Wednesday. Support staff all over Alberta, including BTPS, are wearing purple shirts to show support for Education workers throughout the province.

Joyce Baker Receives Health and Safety Award

Congratulations to Joyce Baker, who received an award for her years of service and dedication to the health and safety of those she works with and supports.

The CUPE Alberta Division Health and Safety Award is awarded to a CUPE member or retiree in good standing who is a health and safety leader. 

Joyce has the following accomplishments to be proud of:
20 yrs as an EA
18 yrs as an EMR
14 yrs as a Critical Incident Debriefer
16 yrs as an Innisfree Volunteer FireFighter (retired)
The executive and members of CUPE Local 1606 are very proud of her accomplishments.
